Six Foot Track Marathon QualifierBoth 34 km and 42 km events will be qualifiers for the Six Foot Track Marathon. Otherwise it will follow exactly the same route.Ģ5 km optionThe 25 km course follows the same route as the marathon until the top of Red Hands Cave Fire Trail than it’s an immediate left onto the Oaks Fire Trail for a downhill finish. The last 8kms will be kind to runners with a downhill on the Oaks Fire Trail then a quick trip down Bennetts Ridge Fire Trail and back into Euroka Clearing for the finish line.ģ4 km optionThe 34 km course is not running Pisgah Ridge fire trail. Once at Nepean the runners will turn around and retrace their steps with a side trip down the rarely seen Pisgah Ridge Fire Trail for a quick 2.7k out and back. Runners will continue the uphill grind to Nepean Lookout. Runners will start the climb following the creek to Red Hands Cave. From there runners will head back down Mount Portal and a right hand turn to some of the best single tracks in the national park down into Camp Fire Creek at the lowest point on the course. Course Details MarathonThe marathon will take runners on a quick lap of Euroka Clearing then up the ‘Goat Track’ and on to Mount Portal Lookout.
